British People Show a Particular Preference for MARMARIS
Friday, July 25th, 2008The number of foreign tourists coming to the province of Muğla in the first half of the year, by air and by sea, increased significantly from the same period last year. Muğla Governor Ahmet Altıparmak said the number of foreign tourists coming to Muğla, particularly to important tourism centers like Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye and Datça, has reached 947,040. He noted that this number was 816,961 during the same period last year, meaning there was a 16 percent increase. In the first six months of this year, 471,370 tourists landed at the Dalaman Airport and another 330,617 tourists came through the Milas-Bodrum Airport. Continue reading »
